Baptism is an expression of God's love for us. It is an act of obedience to God that symbolizes the cleansing that takes place when our sins are forgiven. At Christ Church we practice infant baptism. It doesn't matter whether you’re baptized as an infant, a teenager, or an adult, baptism is God’s gift to remind you of his unconditional love in Jesus Christ.
Families or individuals interested in holding a baptism should sign up to attend a one hour Baptism Class where together we will examine baptism and what it means for daily living. This class is intended to help baptism candidates, parents, and sponsors understand their commitments in baptism.
At Christ Church we hold baptisms at least once per month on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM worship service. We also offer Saturday evening baptism services twice per year - one in the fall and another in the spring.
