Christ Church Preschool uses weekly themes in our curriculum, while incorporating activities to meet the developmental needs of the children in the following areas:

• personal/social
• language/literacy
• mathematical thinking
• scientific thinking
• social studies
• arts
• physical development in the areas of fine and gross motor

The children's intellectual capacity will be stimulated by encouraging curiosity, thinking and reasoning skills, and the desire to learn. Our learning centers are set up with materials related to the weekly theme. The children will have the opportunity to explore the various centers during the learning center time and have information reinforced and enhanced during group activities. This combination of child-initiated and teacher directed learning will help the children learn self-direction and cooperative learning skills.
