Christ Church provides Sunday School for children ages 3 through fifth grade, during both 9:00 and 10:30 AM worship services. Our goal is to help children discover Jesus in a personal way so they will grow up with His teachings. To register for Sunday School, call the church office at 763-441-5097, or simply bring your child on Sunday.
Preschool Curriculum
The preschool children (ages 3-4) use Live B.I.G. curriculum. The children come to know the love of God through Jesus. It’s a curriculum that incorporates music, imagination, sight, sound, hands-on activities, games, Bible stories, prayer and so much more! Each lesson is based on three big truths:
- God is a great big God
- God loves us with a great big love
- We are part of God’s great big world
K-3 Curriculum
Children in Kindergarten through third grade use the PowerXpress curriculum, which enables them to experience one Bible story using different Bible Xperience Stations, such as art, science, storytelling, movies, cooking and games. Each Bible story is taught for a four-week rotation where the children get to really experience God’s Word.
4-6 Curriculum
Fourth and fifth graders are using a curriculum called GRAPPLE. The children deal with tough questions that are part of everyday preteen life. Grapple gets kids into the Bible so they can deal with these questions in meaningful ways and understand their own faith. Large group gathering time is followed by a small group discussion time. There is an opportunity for kids to go online during the week to continue with their faith-building experience.
